Mike’s Hope Joins the Bright Futures Movement

Dear Friends of Mike’s Hope,

It’s been a while since our last update, and we have some incredible news to share! Since our unforgettable Cinco de Mike-O last May, we’ve worked hard to continue Mike Cutter’s legacy of fostering community and bridging gaps in youth sports opportunities.

We proudly announce that Mike’s Hope is now a Bright Futures Sponsor for the Boys & Girls Club of Southeastern Virginia! This partnership reflects our deep belief that every young person deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of America have two Clubs here in Norfolk (Young Terrace and Grandy Village) providing safe spaces where kids and teens can grow, learn, and thrive. Having a place to belong and someone who believes in you can change a life, and we knew it was important to be a part of this effort. The Youth of the Year program is a shining example of how Club kids develop into future leaders, embodying resilience, determination, and success.

Through our sponsorship, Mike’s Hope is continuing its mission of removing barriers to youth recreation, providing leadership opportunities, and ensuring every child in Norfolk has the chance to train, compete, and grow.

Mike Cutter believed in building a stronger community through engagement and opportunity, and in his honor, we remain committed to making a lasting impact across Tidewater. Your support makes all of this possible, and we can’t wait to share more with you soon!
